Join us for our 5th Annual ROCKTOBERFEST! 

The City of Tavares presents our 5th Annual ROCKTOBERFEST featuring SISTER HAZEL and The Ries Brothers!  Join us Saturday, October 14th in Wooton Park, Tavares for live rock music, seaplane competitions, food trucks and merchandise vendors!  ADMISSION IS FREE!

Festivities will begin with our Monster Splash Seaplane Fly-In.  Whether you’re a pilot, aviation enthusiast or simply curious about amphibious aircraft…you don’t want to miss this! Seaplanes fly in from all over to participate in our flying competitions like the crowd favorite “Pumpkin Drop” contest. While the pilots are competing, we will be giving away pumpkin decorating kits to the first 200 kids at the Pilot Registration Tent. The seaplane flying contests are scheduled to begin at 11:00am and the Pilot/Spectator Meet & Greet will be from 1:00pm- 3:00pm where you can get photos with the pilots and their planes.

Following the contests, we will kick off our power-packed live rock show with a lineup of Florida grown bands!  Starting the show, we will welcome back one of Central Florida’s favorite three-piece, multi-genre bands, HYPERSONA!  Hypersona is returning to the Rocktoberfest stage for the first time since 2018 and are sure to bring you to your feet! Next up, we will welcome the talented St. Petersburg duo, THE RIES BROTHERS, for their debut Tavares performance. After the sun goes down, we will light up the stage and wrap up the show with a group of five gifted, seasoned musicians from Gainesville Florida whose well-spring of natural talent has been called one of the Top 100 Most Influential Independent Performers of the last 15 years…SISTER HAZEL!
