Friends of the Library

Friends of Tavares Library, Inc. is a non-profit, charitable 501(c)(3) organization. The mission of the Friends of Tavares Library is to encourage public support of the Tavares Public Library and to promote lifelong learning and literacy. The Friends accomplish this mission by raising funds to support the Library's unexpected program needs and expenses. New members and new ideas are always welcome.

Membership applications are accepted throughout the year, so hurry and join the Friends of the Library! Drop by the Tavares Public Library for the membership application to join.

2021 was the final year for the Friends of the Tavares Public Library Annual Scarecrow Contest and Fundraiser.
New and upcoming events and fundraisers are being planned and will be announced soon.
