Police Administration
Stoney Lubins, Chief of Police

The Chief of Police is the agency head, and oversees the operation of the department. Chief Lubins has been with the city since 1992, becoming chief in 2001 and has been in law enforcement for 23 years. Prior to this, he worked as a paramedic and firefighter after graduating from Daytona State College.

Danny Feleccia, Captain

The Captain is second in command of the department and the lead agency trainer in all areas as they relate to law enforcement. This include high liability instruction, such as firearms and emergency driving.  He is also a certified law enforcement instructor at the police academy. Captain Feleccia has been with the department since 1986 and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and has attended University Of Central Florida.

David Myers, Administrative Lieutenant

The Administrative Lieutenant oversees the communications center. This position insures that all 911/radio operations run smooth and effectively. This position also involves grant research and acquisition for the entire department, as well as statistics. Lt. Myers has been with the department since 1989 and has his master's degree in criminal justice from the University of Central Florida and is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute.

Sue Underwood, Operations Assistant

The Operations Assistant provides support to administration as well as handling budgetary requests and the ordering of equipment in conjunction with the purchasing department. The Operations Assistant also prepares and reviews the FBI uniform crime reports for submission. She has been with the department since 1990.
