Criminal Investigations
The criminal investigations division is comprised of detectives who investigate major felonies, misdemeanors and vice/narcotic crimes. The unit is also in charge of intelligence gathering, including homeland security and crime trends in the area.
The unit utilizes a variety of investigative methods, as well as using a variety of computer networks to get information.
The undercover component, utilizes state of the art equipment and surveillance techniques, as well as typical undercover work. Often, the unit joins up with surrounding law enforcement agencies on investigations.
All detectives are available 24 hours a day, if the need to should arise. The unit is supervised by a Sergeant.
