Fire & Police Pension Boards


The City of Tavares  has two independent pension boards that manage investments for the Tavares Police Department and the Tavares Fire Department retirement funds.    The Board of Trustees are entrusted to administer and manage the system and serve as trustees of the funds.

The individual Boards meet quarterly, with members of the Police Board serving two-year terms and members of the Fire Board serving four-year terms.
